With two days of Leadership training in Stockholm this week, there's not a lot to relay. Although taking a train over the border to Denmark, and being barked at in Danish in securities, and then a 35 minute plane ride to Stockholm, is not your everyday experience. I think I'll actually get to go to the Köpenhamn temple though during my stay here, so I'm pretty pumped for that.
The leadership training was really good. We just counsel about mission goals, and what we want to do. I love being around President Newell anytime though, that man is legendary.
The only things being a Zone Leader entails, is going on exchanges with all the District Leaders, taking everyone's numbers, updating a few documents while calling people, and then taking care of Zone Conferences and teaching Zone Trainings. It's been a blast so far, it kind of takes care of the awkward hours right after you get done with studies, so it's perfect for me. It's stressful to teach the Zone Meetings and stuff, but my companion's a funny guy from Pleasant Grove (Mckay Keetch) who is a baller.
The biggest difference between the three areas I've been to. Norrland is just trees as far as you can see, and small cities. Malmö is a big city, but instead of trees in the country side you just get fields. It's kind of a southern Cali type feel city, where it's by the ocean and everyone's pretty chillaxed. The tough part is that every building down here is portcoded.
We actually have the only red Zone in the mission in our area. It's not really red, it's just basically don't proselyte there, or go there with a nametag after 8.. It sells 25 Kr delicious kebab on cardboard though, so take your pick.
The picture with the crazy soccer field is nuts huh? It's where we play soccer every week. We tried playing Frisbee on it but it's just asking for a sprained ankle. It's a blast though, you'll fall several times a game.
Well, that's all she wrote.
