I do feel like I'm getting the hang of things here. You once told me that I was only afraid of the unknown, and as soon as I got into the swing of things I'll be okay? Well. For some reason you're always right. Life's good now, and we just kämpa på helping people come to church, and what not. More on that later.
So we are going to have big transfers coming up on the 18th, because 13 missionaries are dying, and we're getting 40 more in January because we have two big groups coming into Sweden at the same time because the first got their visas delayed. Yeah. Things are happening, and things are going to explode.
We were in Umeå on Friday for Zone Sharpening, (we accidentally took a night tåg (night train) to Umeå that stopped in Övik, and had a wonderful conversation with a girl from vegas. (Americans are so refreshing) and they kept hinting some crazy things are going down for next year. New everything. And apparently basically everyone in the mission is going to be training, if they're not a greenie, or in leadership. Which I think means me. Uh oh.
I got my fancy new Zip up Swedish Bible this week, So I read the first 15 chapters of Matthew, and there is power in those chapters that I haven't really experienced because all my studies are usually Book of Mormon. But those chapters really built my faith, and reading them in Swedish gives me whole new insights, and thoughts about things. That was super cool.
We have flera investigators right now that gör framsteg! (We have several investigators that are moving forward).
Yesterday was the spiritual experience of the week. People came in to church a bit late, and it didn't get started until 11 10. President Ottosson wasn't happy about it, but in a loving way gave an astounding talk about being good members, so we can help grow our ward so we can eventually build a chapel when we have about 80 members and fifty coming regularly. It got me pumped to do missionary work, involve the ward, help people come unto Christ and I found the fire I've been looking for.
