This week was a good week. With 15 hours of meetings we were happy to get as many teaches as we did.
Tuesday we were filled to the brim with 4 full meals throughout the day. We were literally in pain walking out of the last appointment. It wasn't bad planning, they were all just surprise dinners. It was seriously the worst.
On wednesday I took the darn Pendeltåg (which was only standing room on the entire thing, and we had to take Schindlers bags) to Stockholm, a Swedish Radio person wanted to interview me but I did not have time. . as I transferred a few more times and arrived at the Täby chapel. Picked up Sir Kevin Michael Allen from Long Beach CA! He's 18, graduated 2013, and a super cool kid. We proceeded to travel home after 5 hours of that, and taught a less active with a new convert which went super well.
We then headed back to Gubbängen the next morning at 7AM, on equally crowded trains and had an inspiring Zone Training and then listened to Syster Newell talk for 4 hours about the new program the church came out with in adjusting to missionary life. Stress Management essentially. We met an investigator after that meeting in the Gubbängen chapel, Rohid, and taught him about the Book of Mormon, and just zero taught him. He's a super cool guy, and afterward we all played basketball. . still in my suit - not cool.
Came back for quite the interesting day Friday. We had 4 teaches set up, and 3 of them blåsted or cancelled. After remotivating myself, we continued and contacted and had a day. . at one point we were not sure which area we were going to go to next. . Bro or Jakobsberg . . I had a strong impression to go to Jakobsberg. We went there, and went by a swing by we had in the area. The door is portcoded, but someone happened to be walking in, and the old investigator named Roberto was home. . and we met him and his family and agreed to come by on Sunday.
We went there yesterday and found out there's another child in the family, and this family seems to me ready and prepared. A happy little Spanish family that will fit in perfectly with the ward. Had fun playing with the kids, their bird, and communicating to the Spanish mother via the translator Spanish father. An interesting time, but super cool.
Saturday, we studied and headed to Stake Conference, in Gubbängen, again. Ingemar Nyman was released and Jakob Hagman was called. We as missionaries were invited to be a part of the Priestood meeting, Adult Meeting, the New Convert meeting, and the regular meeting. I had the opportunity to present in the Priesthood meeting, take a minute or two and to report on hometeaching. . with Lars Nilsson. I made the mistake of saying ''Brothers and Sisters, home teaching works! We need yo - '' As Lars cuts in ''Where do you see the sisters?'' As I was made fun of in front of the entire Priesthood of the Stake. Including Kristoffer!
It was funny though, and the missionaries had a musical number the next session. . so we were all kept busy that day.
... and we just keep on meeting as many people as we can and doing work as we are so busy, and have so many people to contact, and it's all just a fantastic work that's going on here.
Thanks for your prayers!
