I for some reason have had my ear clogged all week, and so hearing out of my left ear is totally non-existent. This creates lots of awkward, and funny experiences talking to people . . as everything is unaudible! Super strange.
Well my classes are all registered up until Dev 2014 for BYU, so hoo-rah for BYU admissions lady being your mission president's wife. A strange feeling.
This week was rather calm, with every day being about the exact same, other than a fantastic italian restaurant we hit up after district meeting Thursday. The pattern is usually meet with Aga, Eero, and then someone else plus a member dinner. Talking to people på väg. Simple, effective, missionary work!
Aga Khan - He is doing well. We taught him the word of wisdom this week and he was more than happy to give up everything, he's just worried about smoking as he does it frequently. We met him a lot this week though, and he came to conference and FHE and Kirk Cammans house! He's doing well, and going forward.
He's the dang guy as he's 44 and played soccer with all of us last Monday, and he's a master chef so he's usually made something every time we go over and visit him.
So much conference! We were at the VF chapel all day yesterday, just getting destroyed by how many hours. Just a spiritual slash mental overload, but it was amazing. The first session of conference was by far the best session I've ever seen in my life. All the talks just powerful, direct, new, and exactly what this church, and I, needs to hear.
Otherwise there really wasn't that much. . Other than my new-found piano playing ability everything's pretty average.
