This has been a crazy week.
I am currently in Göteborg but because of the business and things, pictures are not available in this letter - we will try to do better.
I departed Jakobsberg Wednesday morning after having a wonderful dinner with the Fhors family a few days prior, as Ulrika showed me pictures of mother back when she was baptized on the ''Sundsvall gren" (branch) page on facebook. Super cool to see that. Father and his glasses, never gets old.
Tuesday night was crazy because we had to retrieve two elders from Stockholm Central at 9 PM plus go visit tons of people to say bye, so we barely had time to do anything. Had a good talk with one of the members though, Andre Fagerman, and gave him a blessing. I think it's easier to give blessings in Swedish, honestly. The spirit is so cool.
In any case, I arrived in Göteborg and it was total nostalgia. I remembered the central I had left so very long ago, and just was in awe at the whole place. It's a combination of Norrland and Stockholm and the accent here can be so cool. I would wager the best accent in Sweden, tied with Norrland if they'd get rid of the darn 'shh sound.'
I didn't have too much time to reflect though as my companion is a machine. In a good way. We were jumping on and off spårvagns (subways) all day, talking to every living human being and having so many fantastic conversations about the Gospel. He's only been in Sweden for 4 months but it feels like he's training me, and it's super fun. I just follow him along, help him contact people and we teach. It's been different because I'm not used to member dinners 4 times a week, and in certain ways way more tiring . . but it's been super good and I've learned tons from this week.
